Extracting pages from a PDF is useful when you need to pull out a specific section of a report, share individual chapters, or isolate pages before rearranging them in another document. This tool makes the process visual — you see every page as a thumbnail and click to select exactly what you want.
How it works: After uploading your PDF, the tool renders previews of all pages directly in your browser using pdfjs-dist. No file is sent to any server. When you click "Extract as PDF", the selected pages are assembled into a new PDF using pdf-lib and downloaded instantly. If you want each page as its own separate PDF, use "Download as ZIP" — you get a .zip file containing one PDF per selected page.
Page order: Pages in the extracted PDF follow their original order in the source document, regardless of the order you clicked them. If you need a specific custom order, use the Reorder PDF tool after extracting.
