want2convert.com ("we", "our", "the site") is a free online file conversion and editing service. We provide browser-based tools for converting, editing, and processing files entirely on your device. Our contact email is hello@want2convert.com.
2. Files You Process

All file processing on want2convert.com is performed entirely within your web browser using WebAssembly (WASM) and JavaScript libraries. No file you upload, convert, or edit is ever transmitted to our servers — because we do not have servers that receive files. We do not store, log, or retain any file contents, filenames, or metadata.
3. Data We Collect
We collect minimal data to operate the site:
- Server access logs — Standard web server logs (IP address, page URL, timestamp, browser user agent) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging. Never sold or shared.
- Cookie consent preference — A flag stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie). Stays on your device, never transmitted to us.
We do not require account registration. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information as part of using the tools.

6. Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 anonymises IP addresses and does not collect personally identifiable information.
