How to Convert PowerPoint to PDF

Upload your PPTX file
Click the upload zone or choose a .pptx file (max 50 MB). It is sent over an encrypted connection to our server when you convert.

Click "Convert to PDF". LibreOffice on our server renders each slide as a PDF page, then your uploaded file is deleted.

Click Download PDF to save your file. Each slide in the presentation becomes one page in the resulting PDF.
Converting a PowerPoint presentation to PDF makes it universally viewable on any device without requiring Microsoft Office or PowerPoint. PDF files are also ideal for sharing, archiving, and printing, since the layout remains fixed regardless of the recipient's software or operating system.
How this tool works: When you click Convert, your .pptx file is uploaded over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our conversion server. There it is converted to PDF by LibreOffice in headless mode, one PDF page per slide, and the PDF is sent back to your browser. Your uploaded file and the generated PDF are deleted from the server once the result has been sent. Uploads are limited to 50 MB and conversions time out after about two minutes.
What is preserved: Text, images, shapes, tables, and slide layout are generally carried over, since LibreOffice renders the whole slide rather than just extracting text.
What may differ:Animations, transitions, and embedded videos do not exist in a PDF. Complex SmartArt, charts, and special effects may render differently, and fonts that are not installed on our server are substituted. For a visually faithful conversion, use Microsoft PowerPoint's built-in "Export as PDF" feature.
