Converting a PDF to PowerPoint is useful when you receive a report or document as a PDF and need to incorporate its content into a presentation. Instead of retyping, this tool extracts the text from each page and places it into an editable slide โ giving you a working starting point in minutes.
How this tool works:pdfjs-dist (the same library used by PDF.js, Mozilla's open-source PDF viewer) extracts the text content layer from each page. The text is then placed into a PowerPoint PPTX file built from scratch using JSZip and the Office Open XML format. Each PDF page becomes one slide with a single full-page text box.
What is preserved:Text in reading order (top to bottom, left to right on each page). Line breaks and paragraph structure are maintained where the PDF's text layer allows it.
Limitations: Images, charts, tables, column layouts, headers, footers, and text formatting (font size, colour, bold, italic) are not carried over. Scanned PDFs (image-only, no text layer) will produce empty slides โ use the Image to Text (OCR) tool first.
